The Ag. Executive Secretary of PTAD, Mr. Sulayman Shelleng met with the representatives of some Pension Unions under the Defined Benefit Scheme to brief them of the Directorate’s proposed grassroots sensitization campaign on the I Am Alive confirmation solution.

Mr. Shelleng informed the meeting that the implementation of the Solution is going on smoothly since the commencement of the full roll-out. He said to further enhance pensioners’ participation, PTAD staff will be deployed to Local Government Areas to sensitize DBS pensioners on the need for them to confirm their aliveness to continue to receive their pension.

The Union Executives appreciated the management for the new effort in making sure that all pensioners are carried along and are assisted to confirm themselves in the comfort of their homes.
